Governance Policies

BVP South Pune Charitable Trust is affiliated to Bharat Vikas Parishad (BVP) which is a NGO with presence across India.

  • The BVP national office has issued guidelines for “Trust Deed” to trusts affiliated to BVP.

  • The trust is strictly controlled by BVP central office by indirect oversight and they have right to appoint trustees if needed.

  • We submit our financial reports to statutory authorities like Income Tax and Charity Commissioner.

  • BVP South Pune Charitable Trust has to submit annual audited financial reports to BVP central office.

  • Every Trustee has to be a member of Bharat Vikas Parishad.

  • No political party office bearer can become a Trustee.

  • No trustee can get any remuneration from trust for his/her services as Trustee.

  • Presently the trust has 11 Trustees.

  • Annual budget is approved by the board of Trustees. For operational matters we have Managing committee.

  • Every quarter of the financial year a general body meeting of Trustees is organized for deciding policy matters and budgets for various programs.
